BrightTitan Cast 4: iPhone SE & iPad Pro

Even though there are few important news in this week, the most interesting and significant development was the BrightTitan 2.0 for us.

This week, not only we have changed the design of our site, but also fixed the bugs on our website. For example, now there is not white gap between the top of the site and the posts. Also, if you are following BrightTitan for a while, then you are aware of the issue which was showing symbols on the top of site, now there is no weird symbols.

Besides of changing the design and fixing the bugs, now there is also a new feature. If you are using Safari, Chrome or FireFox, then you can get notified when there is a new post. You can enable this feature by clicking on the button that is located bottom right of the screen.

Anyway, here are the significant technological news of the week.

Apple Introduced the Smaller iPhone SE

It was expected from Apple to introduce the new 4-inch iPhone and they did. The new iPhone is called as “iPhone SE”.

Well, it is nearly identical with the iPhone 5S in the matter of design, but is powered by A9 with M9. It also has a new 12MP iSight camera. The next feature is the NFC to allow you to use SE for Apple Pay.

The iPhone SE costs only 399$ for 16GB which makes the cheapest iPhone.

There Is Also a Smaller iPad Pro

Apple’s iPad Pro 12.9 was big for some users, so that they introduced the smaller one.

It is also called the “Apple iPad Pro”, but has a 9.7 inch screen. The screen is 40% less reflective than Air 2. Moreover, it is also 25% brighter than Air 2 which makes it the brightest tablet ever. New iPad Pro comes with a technology called True Tone Display. It basically senses the color around the room and adjusts the screen colors according to that. Similarly to the iPad Pro ( 12.9-inch ), it is powered by A9, and has four speakers. In the matter of camera, there are new improvements. It has a new 12MP isight camera with 5MP front camera which can use the screen as a flash. On the back, there is a flash, but also now there is a camera hump which I did not like. Since it is also called as iPad Pro, it supports the Pro accessories such as Smart Keyboard or Apple Pencil. It costs 599$ for 32GB or 749$ for 128GB. There is now also 256GB storage for 899$. Unlike the previous models, there are four color options including Rose Gold.

USB Type-C Adapter Charges the iPad Pro 64% faster

USB Type-C came to our life basically with Apple MacBook. When we saw an Apple product using the latest USB standard, we all thought other companies will also use that, but there are not as many USB Type-C products as expected.

Still, iPad Pro comes with normal charger, but if you use the Pro ( 12.9 ) model with USB Type-C, then it will be charged 64%faster.

I know Apple will probably not change the lightning part on iPhones and iPads, but at least they could add Type-C to all chargers.

OnePlus 3 Has Been Spotted in AnTuTu

It is not a secret that OnePlus will introduce its next flagship this year, and here is OnePlus 3’s specs.

According to the leak, OnePlus 3 will have FullHd Display. Even though OnePlus is trying to make affordable flagship phones, FullHD is not acceptable for a flagship phone in 2016. Anyway, it will be powered by SnapDragon 820, and has 4GB RAM. It comes with 16MP back camera with 8MP front.

Oculus Started to Ship Rift

Oculus Rift started to get the pre-orders in the last month, and now, they started to ship it.

If you pre order the Oculus Rift, then you will get your device after 28 March 2016. However, if you did not and still want to buy the device, then you must wait until July

Microsoft Killed its AI After It Became Racist

Microsoft made an AI called “Tay”, but after 23 hours, they silently killed the Tay.

One of the most interesting features of the AI was that it was able to learn from people on Twitter. After spending a day in the internet, it just became racist and egoist. It even started to support Hitler.

If the AI will learn from the internet, then you should be worried. And the worse part is that it just learned from Twitter. Just think what if it had an ability to learn from Reddit or even deep web. As a result, I think Artificial Intelligence should not learn from us.
