Galaxy S7 mini will be powered by SP 820 and Exynos 8890

In the past, the name “mini” meant smaller phones with crippled features. However, Sony used nearly same features in Xperia mini series with the regular Z series. It looks like Samsung will also do the same thing.

If the rumors are true, then Samsung Galaxy S7 mini will have either SnapDragon 820 or Exynos 8890 which are also used on S7 / S7 Edge. Since its name is “mini”, it will have smaller display with the size of 4.6 inch. Even though it is not very small since the regular iPhone 6 comes with 4.7 display, still it is smaller than S7 which has a screen size of 5.1 inch. If you also want its screen resolution to be same with S7, then you will be sad, because its screen resolution is only 720×1280. Also, it has 3GB RAM rather than 4GB RAM used on S7.
