Galaxy S7 Edge

Geekbench listed a mysterious Galaxy S7 with Helio X20 and X25

There are two variants of Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge: One with Exynos 8890 and one with SnapDragon 820. However, it looks like there will be also AMediaTek version ( Oh my God ).

Two mysterious S7s are listed in Geekbench. The first variant uses MediaTek Helio X20 but comes with 3GB RAM, while the second one uses Helio X25 and 4GB RAM. The interesting part is that it is codenamed as SM-G930W8. “W” versions are usually specifically made for Canada. Now, question is “will Samsung made a Helio S7 for Canada?” The answer is “probably, yes. It is Samsung, so that you can expect such as thing.”

That is why I hate from Samsung. They cannot live without making hundreds of variants of the same phone. In the past, we have seen only two processors for S series, but it looks like that is not enough for Samsung. If this is true, then there would be 4 different variants for S7 and S7 Edge.

Samsung, why don’t you also make a S7 with SnapDragon 652 like HTC 10?
