Google will make a doping for https sites

In the past, Google made a doping for the sites that supported Google AMP, and now they started to help for WordPress sites that has a SSL certificate.

Even though https can be considered as a slightly old protocol, still only limited percent of the sites are using this protocol ( including ). Even though SSL certificate was not cheap, right now you can even get a free ssl from Google’s Lets Encrypt project. That is why Google wants to increase the WordPress sites that has a https protocol. If you are planning to build a website using WordPress, then you might want to consider to get a SSL.
