HP tries to beat Apple with Spectre 13

From the introduction of Apple MacBook Air and MacBook 2015, companies try to make thinner laptops. In order to fight with Apple’s thin MacBook, HP just introduced Spectre 13.

HP’s new thin laptop is called as Spectre 13 and is only 10.4mm thick which is 2.8mm thinner than MacBook. Quick reminder: Apple MacBook 2015 is 13.2mm thick.

HP Spectre 13 comes with 13.3-inch Full HD display. Even though it has a higher resolution than MacBook Air, it can’t take the victory over MacBook’s and MacBook Pro’s Retina display. However, the base model has 8GB RAM, 256GB main storage. Unlike the MacBook, there is no option for Core M since it uses Intel i5 or i7.

HP will start selling Specter 13 on April 25th, and base model starts from $1,169.99.
