HTC 10 – Review
HTC didn’t do a great job with M9 and A9, so they needed to introduce something new. Something that could make HTC more popular again. So, here is the all new HTC 10.
If you mix HTC M7 and A9, then you get HTC 10. You can see that it has a HTC A9-like front design. It means it does not have the front boom sound speakers that we have seen on previous M series, it still has the boom sound speakers though. Also, it has a physical home button. When you flip the phone, you will see a HTC M7-like design.
I always loved the way that HTC phones look expect the M9 Plus and A9. I appreciated the HTC 10’s design, but I cannot say that I would vote 10 as the best looking phone. When you compare the 10 with S7 Edge side by side, still HTC 10 will not give you the elegant and modern look that S7 Edge has.
HTC always believed that their “ultra pixel” technology was better than others, but in reality, it was pretty bad. Even though M9 lack the ultra pixel technology, this feature is with us again with HTC 10. Okay, I will be honest. HTC 10 has an amazing camera, but again, Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is the winner. That means it is not the “best shooter ever”. I mean the front camera has new and unique features such as OIS, and is probably one of the best front cameras. However, I wouldn’t say that it is the best shooter.
As I mentioned at the beginning of this review, HTC needed to introduce something new and something unique. HTC 10 is a good phone, but it is not the best phone as HTC argued about. However, it is not bad. It has a great metal body ( Yes, it is complete metal unlike the LG G5 ). It is fast and has alright battery life, but again, it is not the best android that you can buy.
