HTC just introduced 10
It was expected from HTC to release its flagship phone, and they just announced the all new HTC 10 today.
As expected, it has a 5.2-inch QHD Super LCD 5 Display. Even though it has a curved Gorilla glass screen, it does not have the edges that you can find on Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge or S7 Edge, but it is something like 2.5d glass, instead. In order to compete with other flagship phones on the market, it is powered by SnapDragon’s latest 820, and features 4GB of RAMs. It comes with 3.000mAh battery and supports the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3 which means you can charge the 10 to 50% only in half an hour.
HTC 10 has a 12MP “ultra pixel” main camera with f/1.8 aperture. Even though there are even phones with f/1.7 aperture, f/1.7 is not bad. Moreover, it features OIS and laser autofocus. In the matter of front camera, there are interesting points. For example, there is an OIS in the front camera which is the first time that we have seen an optical image stabilization in a front camera. Anyway, the front camera has a resolution of 5MP and aperture of f/1.8. I must say that I didn’t find HTC 10’s main camera “the best shooter” since I think there are phones with better cameras, but I am impressed with the front camera. Not only it features an OIS, but also has f/1.8 aperture.
As HTC indicated even before the official introduction, it has BoomSound speakers, but not in front. However, two speakers was not expected, so it was a surprise to see two of them. This time, two speakers work separately for different purposes. While the first one is tweeter, the second one work as woofer.
HTC 10 starts from $700 for 32GB and there is a second option for 64GB.
