HTC 10 is “not the fastest Android device”

Speed of a technological device depends on many things. That means the processor speed is not the only factor.

Before officially showing the 10, HTC promised us that it would be the “fastest Android yet”. Well, it is fast thanks to the latest SnapDragon 820 and the new Sense UI. However, there is one thing that prevents HTC 10 from being the fastest Android. That is the reading/writing speeds. Samsung is already using high-speed memory on S6 and S7 family. In this case, while Samsung Galaxy S7/S7 Edge comes with Universal Flash Storage 2.1, HTC 10 uses Embedded Multi-Media Controller which is slower compared to S7 and even compared to LG G5. In the tests done by GSMArena, it can be seen that HTC 10 is never in the first place. In some tests, it manages to pass the S7, but LG G5 ( surprisingly ) is mostly the winner.
