Nvidia just announced GTX1070

Earlier today, Nvidia showed us its latest flagship graphic card, GeForce GTX 1080, and now they announced the mid-range GTX1070.

Like the 1080, GTX1070 also uses the latest Pascal architecture. Pascal allows the 1000 series to be 2-3 times faster the previous 900 series. GTX 1070, similarly to the 1080,  uses TSMC’s new 16nm FinFET process. The most surprising thing with the 1070 is that 8GB memory is  standard. Personally, I wasn’t expecting that.

Nvidia GTX 1070 will be available on June 10, while 1080 will be out two weeks earlier, on May 27.
