Sorry AMD, but Nvidia GTX1080 is the king

Nvidia just announced its all new flagship graphic card, GTX1080, and it proves that Nvidia is the king. Sorry AMD.

Nvidia GTX1080 uses the latest Pascal architecture. According to the Nvidia, Pascal is 3 times faster than the previous architecture, Maxwell. Anyway, GTX1080 has standard 8GB GDDR5X memory. Finally, 8GB is standard with the flagship graphic card ( Do not forget that GTX980’s standard model comes with 4GB of memory ). Furthermore, 1080 has a memory type speed of 10 Gbps which is a little bit faster compared to previous GTX980’s 7 Gbps. As VR is the “future”, the new 1080 is also designed for VR.

According to Nvidia, GTX 1080 is even faster than the Nvidia TitanX while has a better power usage. Anyway, right now, 1080 is the only card in the 10 series, but you can expect to see 1070 ( and even 1060 ) soon.
