There are two huge names in the graphic card industry: Nvidia and AMD. Even though AMD showed its Polaris architecture at the beginning of this year, they introduced their first AMD graphic card based on Polaris just today.AMD Radeon RX 480

First of all, it is not a card that is desgined to compete with either GTX1070 or 1080 beacuse its main focus is to bring high-end features such as VR to low range graphic cards. Anyway, it is called as AMD Radeon RX 480 and costs only $199. However, it proves that AMD is better than Nvidia in the low-end graphic cards for few reasons.

The most amazing features of RX 480 is the fact that it is VR Ready and it comes with 4GB GDDR5 of memory even with the base $199 model. However, there will be also a 8GB model.

Furthermore, it is AMD’s first graphic card to feature 14nm FinFET processor. Also, it has 256GB/s memory bandwidth and 256-bit memory bit-rate.
