Blame the Android for OnePlus 3’s RAM issue

OnePlus 3 has 6GB of RAM while other latest flagship phones only have 4 which sounds like OnePlus 3 is better than other phones in terms of multitasking but in the real life, it is not. As different websites and YouTube channels compared OnePlus’ latest smartphone with S7 as well as with other flagship phones, it was seen that OnePlus 3 was struggling in multitasking ( even with its 6GB of RAM ) compared to S7.

Today, Carl Pei, who is the co-founder of OnePlus, talked about the issue on Twitter and he gave two explanations for the problem. First¬†reason for the issue is that OnePlus didn’t want RAM to use a lot of battery so that they limited the RAM usage to¬†only 20 apps. Second, as 6GB of RAM is new to Android, it is not completely optimized.

However, OnePlus could solve the issues with updates.
