Evernote raises the prices for premium users; limits the free ones
There is no doubt that Evernote is one of the best note-taking apps and it is used by a lot of people including me. However, we have a bad news for you if you use Evernote.
In an announcement made by Evernote itself, they introduced a new pricing model which not only affects the plus and premium users but also the free ones.
First of all, Evernote raised the prices. The Plus now costs $3.99 per month ( which was $2.99 in the past ) or $34.99 per year, while the Premium plan’s cost was increased from $5.99 per month to $7.99 per month and to $69.99 per year. However, there is nothing new in neither plus and premium in terms of feature. In other words, you are paying more for the same features.
Also, there is maybe even worse news for free users. Unless they upgrade to premium ( not plus, though ), they can only use Evernote on two devices.
Even though ( as a user of Evernote ) I did not appreciate the price changes as well as the limitation of free users to two devices, I guess it is something they need to do in order to keep the service running.
