Best ultrabooks of 2016

Best ultrabooks of 2016

Winner | Apple MacBook ( 2016 )

Apple MacBook is blazingly thin and light. Even though last year’s model had problems with performance as well as with battery life, 2016 MacBook provides battery life nearly as long as MacBook Pro. Yet it is powerful enough to handle video editing. However, still there is a performance gap between MacBook’s Core M and the regular Core i processors.

Second Place | Apple MacBook Pro ( 2015 )

Second place is also for other Apple MacBook but it is 2015 MacBook Pro. Even though its design is same with previous models ( so it is not as thin as MacBook ), it can handle everything you want ( not games though ) and still provides battery life that is actually close to MacBook Air. However, like the latest MacBook, it has a gorgeous screen and also let’s not forget the Force Touch Trackpad which actually does not move but lets you feel like it is moving. It is crazy, right?

MacBook Pro 13

Third Place | Microsoft Surface Book

Microsoft was working on the Surface line-up for years and now, they have a new laptop that can also be used as 2-in-1. It is called as Surface Book and it is more a laptop than a convertible one. It has a beautiful screen, a pen and dedicated graphic card on the base. However, it is not in the first or even in the second place. Do you wonder why? Because it is as thick as two MacBook Pros and there is a stupid gap when you close the laptop. Nevertheless, Microsoft could work on the battery life more.

Surface Book

Forth Place | Dell XPS 13

Dell XPS 13 is one of the real ultrabooks in the windows market. I mean just look at the good ultrabooks with Windows. There is Microsoft Surface Book, HP Spectre 13 and Lenovo Yoga. All of them are 2-in-1s unlike the Dell XPS 13. This is one of the best Windows PCs that you can buy today but still it is not the best. It has a good performance but so-so design with awkward position for webcam, and average battery life.
