Facebook Messenger is updated for “secret conversations”

It is a not a secret that Facebook is watching you. However, they don’t want any other people to watch you. That is why, Facebook Messenger is updated with End-to-end encryption and self-destroying messages.

End-to-end encryption is a term that we are familiar with as most of the popular messaging apps support this feature. After WhatsApp, now Facebook Messenger is updated with this feature. As a result, it encrypts each of your conversations so theoretically, even Facebook itself wouldn’t be able to see your messages.

Other feature is self destroying messages. This means you can set a time for how long your message would be visible. According to Facebook, if you are using Messenger to send credential data ( what a bright idea ), then it is a significant feature for you.
