Google’s answer to FaceTime goes live

Google DUO

Google’s answer to FaceTime goes live

During the I/O 2016, Google announced two new communication apps called Duo and Allo.

Launched simultaneously, Duo is the first one to go live. Duo allows you to make one-to-one video chats with other ones who also have the same app. According to Google, the selling point of the app is a future called Knock Knock. It shows the video of a caller before answering the call.

However, the problem is that Google is late. There are already plenty of video calling apps including FaceBook Messenger, Skype and even their own Hangouts. Even though they say that Duo is designed to be as fast and stable as possibly, other ones were in the market for years. We will see if Duo can beat other services.

You can find the app on AppStore as well as on Play Store. However, if it is not available in your country yet, you need to wait for sometime.
