Samsung should stop making different variants for different regions

Without any doubt, Samsung is the largest Android phone maker and in terms of market share, it is the company competing with Apple. However, despite of the actual size of the company and its position in the markets, they are making idiotic choices and they continue to make mistakes even with their latest phone, Note 7.

Since the introduction of Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, there were rumors and leaks about Note 7. It supposed to be way more powerful than S7. We were expecting 6GB of RAM and SnapDragon 823.

Samsung launched Note 7 this week. Even though¬†nobody actually cared about the fact that it came with the same processor as well as exact same hardware with S7, the RAM was the point that made most of us sad. If you don’t know, Note 7 comes with 4GB of RAM but the problem starts here. If you live in anywhere but China, then you have only one option which is 4GB. However, if you live in China, then you can get 6GB of RAM.

I mean still the processor depends on regions but why the hell we ( I mean most of us living outside of China ) get less powerful phone although in many markets in Europe, Note7 is way more expensive. That is the current issue with Samsung. They cannot just make one phone for all of the regions like Apple. They have to discriminate.

It is not something new though. We are seeing this problem for many years. For example, Samsung did not sell Note 5 in Europe. The other example would be S6. It was the phone that changed Samsung ideology but not completely though. Still, it had two options for processor so had for camera.

As a result, Samsung ( and other phone makers ) should stop making region based phones. It is stupid in a world that is connected in every aspect.
