iPhone 7 will have 5 colors, 32 GB base storage and more
Ming-Chi Kuo, KGI Securities analyst who has a good reputation because of his correct reports of the Apple rumors, just published the most detail report up to date about iPhone 7.
The report includes changes from the chipset to the new colors options about the upcoming iPhone that will be introduced on Wednesday.
As an upgrade, Apple will pack iPhone 7s with Apple A10 at a clock speed of 2.4-2.45 GHz. However, there is a chance for Apple to lower the clock speed to prevent heating issues.
Alongside with the more powerful Apple chipset, new iPhone 7 Plus will have 3GB of RAM but the normal model will continue to include 2GB.
New Storage Options
There will be new storage options as well. The Base model now starts at 32GB which has been joined by 128 and 256GB.
Both iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will come with new cameras. While the normal model will pack an upgraded camera, iPhone 7 Plus will equip dual-lens camera with both of them being 12 megapixel sensors.
Yes, new iPhones will be IPX7 water resistance like the Apple Watch. This is happening because of the lack of the traditional physical home button which, by the way, will be replaced by pressure-sensitive button.
No Headphone Jack
You may knew it or not but there will not be a headphone jack on the iPhone 7. Instead of the current EarPhones, there will be wireless EarPods. However, Apple will include a new adapter for users to plug headphone jack and charge their phones simultaneously.
New Color Options
Alongside with the rose gold, gold, and silver, Apple will include 2 new colors; Dark Black ( which is a replacement for the space grey ) and Piano Black ( which will be limited ).
