DayDream Platform will soon be launched with Pixel and Pixel XL, first phones to use this platform. However, each day as we are getting close to the launch, Google is revealing more details. Today, they released DayDream Keyboard to the Google Play.

Obviously, the app is a part of the DayDream platform, but for some reason, it is released as an stand-alone app. But, keep in mind, when deleted, it may cause some errors within some apps.

In terms of usage though, it is similar with the keyboard on the Gear VR. There is a dot in the middle, and you need to move your head to point the dot to each letters. Then, when clicked on the touchpad, at least on the Gear VR, the letter is selected.

Also, the other important thing to mention is that Nexus 6P, made by Huawei, is the only phone to support the app so far. Nevertheless, it is not hard to guess that Pixel phones will be among the next ones to support it.
