Galaxy Note 7 has banned from all US flights

Following the recall of Note 7,  Federal Aviation Administration ( FAA ) and the Hazardous Materials Safety Administration ( PHMSA ) registered under Department of Transportation ordered any remaining Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to be banned from all US flights. The restriction will start to take place on this Saturday.

Even if you turn the device off, you are not permitted to get into the plane with Note 7. It is really a strict action when you keep in mind that the previous limitation only required Note 7 users to turn down their phones.

On the other hand though, it was a needed action to prevent further accidents. Because the latest cases included Note 7s which were not even turned on or were not even being charged at the moment.

FAA says that ” banning these phones from airlines will inconvenience some passengers, but the safety of all those aboard an aircraft must take priority…We are taking this additional step because even one fire incident inflight poses a high risk of severe personal injury and puts many lives at risk.”

Also, it is important to mention that the security will not specifically looking at each passenger’s phone. Instead, if they happen to encounter with one, they will take action.

The restriction may surely be annoying for the Note 7 users, but they need to return their devices in anyways. Maybe, this whole thing will encourage them to do that.
