Galaxy S8 might have two variants
A report from China gives new information about Samsung Galaxy S8. According to the rumors, S8 will have two variants. Both of them will have the same specs, but the only difference will be the screen size and the resolution of the screen.
This means, both of the variants will be powered by either SnapDragon 830 ( which will be produced by 10nm standard ) or Exynos 8895 depending on the market. Furthermore, the curved display will be present on both of the models. However, the first version will be smaller at the size of 5.1-inch compared to the bigger version’s 5.5-inch display. The bigger version will additionally come with 4K resolution whereas the smaller version will only support QHD.
The report also says that S8 will have the VIV AI instead of S-Voice. It actually makes sense when you keep in mind the fact that Samsung acquired the maker of VIV not so long ago.
Also, it looks like Samsung hasn’t made any changes to the introduction date of S8 even though they stoped the production of Note 7.
