Google’s smartwatches will come early next year with Android Wear 2.0
It looks like Google really wants to be a hardware company. According to Evan Blass, Google will launch two of its smartwatches in the first quarter of 2017. Codenamed as Angelfish and Swordfish, they differ in specs so do in the sizes. However, both of them are designed to run Google Assistant on Android Wear 2.0.
Furthermore, those watches will probably be among the first smartwatches to run the second version of Android Wear. Also, it should be noted that it is not 100% guaranteed Google will actually make its own smartwatches. If they do though, it will show Google’s effort to widen the range of “Made by Google” devices.
