New Macs are coming in Apple’s event on October 27

Apple just sent invites to the media for an event which will be held in the Apple Campus Cupertino on October 27th. The event will start at  10 a.m. PDT. So far, it looks like it will be all about macs as most of the Apple laptops and desktops haven’t seen any updates for years. Also, the event includes the tag lines “hello again”, a small reference to the tagline of the original event of the first macs.

We expect the star of the show to be the 2016 MacBook Pro, which will finally be redesigned. It will be thinner, lighter and more powerful. Besides, it will have the slimmer keys from the MacBook and USB Type-C ports, again from the MacBook. However, unlike any other Mac laptops, or even any other laptop, it will replace the function keys with an OLED screen. This way, users will be able to arrange the function keys as well as change their functions.

But as Apple is having a separate event for Macs, it looks like MacBook Pro will not be the only product in the event. The company may choose to update the MacBook Air as well. And, we might even see a new Mac  Pro with a new 5K Apple display.
