Redesigned Microsoft Paint

Microsoft Paint is now better than ever

Microsoft Paint is an old app. It was first introduced with Windows 1, 31 years ago, and throughout the years, it has been updated with new features and new looks. However, we can’t say the same thing for the recent time period. In the recent releases of Windows versions, Microsoft didn’t updated the app with any major features at all until today. Now, Windows 10 comes with a completely redesigned Paint.

First of all, it is eventually the paint you know. All the features are there, but unlike the other versions, the new one comes with a support of creating 3D arts. This, by the way, sounds like it is designed with HoloLens kept in mind. Anyway, you can either add 3D objets and move them freely or make the 2D objects and drawings look 3D when combined. All of these features are of course has been designed to work with pen and touchscreen.

Interestingly, Microsoft updated the app in an interesting time. In this month, they will have a Surface event where they will supposedly announce a new All-in-One Surface. In any case, we expect desktop version of Surface to have a pen as well, a feature that is present on every single Surface.
