Alfa Romeo revealed its SUV, Stelvio
Alfa Romeo did a fascinating job with its sports car, 4C. It could neither reach to the highest top speed nor complete the 0 to 60 mph ( 100 km ) run in the shortest amount of time. That was not a problem because the car was designed to give a joy to its driver, something the car was great at. Then, Alfa Romeo announced its sedan, Giulia. Even though Giulia got many attractions, we can’t say anything for sure, because it is not out yet. You are going to need to wait for few more months. Now, they announced a new car, a SUV, to complete the family. It is named as Stelvio, and it, for sure, carries Alfa Romeo’s DNA.
Alfa Romeo Stelvio is eventually a lifted up Guilia. It means with the Quadrifoglio pack, the car will have the same Ferrari-inspired 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine making a total of 510-horsepower. However, the power distribution is different. While Alfa Romeo chose to deliver Guilia with a rear-wheel drive system, Stelvio comes with a four wheel driving system. That is a nice move, because you are ( probably ) not going to drift with a SUV.
Nevertheless, there is a second engine option equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter V4, making 280 horsepower and 306 lb-ft of torque. Regardless of the engine, the car comes standard with an 8-speed automatic transmission delivering power to all the wheels.
Alfa Romeo, so far, did not give any information about either the availability nor pricing, although it won’t be until 2018 for us to see the car.
