Apple Music is growing fast

In September, Apple announced Apple Music reached to a total of 17 million users. According to a new statement by Eddy Cue, senior vice president of Apple’s internet software and services, the number of paid users using the Apple Music service has reached 20 million.

Cue explained to Billboard that more than 60 percent of Apple Music users have not bought anything from iTunes for 12 months or more. Expressing that more than 50 percent of music service users live in America, Cue said that most of those users are new customers and they are happy because of the growth of the service. Shared figures show that Apple’s online music service earned 3 million subscribers in the latest three months. However, remember that Apple’s biggest rival, Spotify, has over 40 million paid users as of now, but Spotify is in the market for a longer period.
