Blackberry changed its strategy

We recently reported to you that the BlackBerry’s smartphone part was sold to the Chinese firm, TCL. The smartphone company¬†is thus getting ready to open up in different markets by changing their strategy. The technology giant’s footsteps went out to develop a car without drivers.

Having opened a center in Canada focusing on driverless car technologies, the company has received clear permissions to perform driverless vehicle tests on the public open space. QNX, which is engaged in automobile technology that BlackBerry bought back in 2010, will be working in this center. It is said that BlackBerry is interested in the development of driverless automobile software. It is stated that Lincoln cars will be used for the test and these cars will be modified to be equipped with high-end technology. Finally, it is said that Ford will also contribute to the development process of the driverless car.
