BMW HoloActive Touch

BMW has a new cockpit

BMW shared the first information about cockpit design that will be featured in the future automotive designs.

Automotive industry is one of the most beautiful sectors where the development of technology has positive effects on our lives. One of the clearest features of driver-centered cockpit designs that automakers end up losing as they adapt to the cars of the future in their organization, and which in this context comes to mind, is that the designs are free from physical keys. BMW comes to CES 2017 with an exciting project, one of the manufacturers in the automobiles.

Designing the concept cockpit with BMW’s HoloActive Touch is considered to be the next stage of the remote control system, which was first introduced to CES in 2015 and now presented in the 7 Series. Developed by BMW’s Connected Cloud system, the system works in tandem with the Head-up Display with the integrated camera. With the system, car is able to detect drive movements with virtual controls. While HoloActive Touch is waiting for users of a console design in the holographic structure with the passing of a voyage, it brings us closer to the designs we see in science fiction movies.
