Ford announced the new Fiesta
The 2017 Ford Fiesta showed its face to the world for the first time in Germany.
The UK’s first, Europe’s third-best selling car Ford Fiesta finally is redesigned with a new face. The 2017 Fiesta, which faces the entire world with a special event held in Cologne, Germany, signaled that it will protect its titles with the first photographs that were caught by the cameras before the event. Ford, along with its new design lines and engines, is also introducing a new model version at the Fiesta to fit the tiny SUV!
According to the model where the new Fiesta is located, we can say that the biggest design differences are in the back and inside. When we look at the front, we are closer to Focus and face the front grille that varies according to the hardware levels. Parallel to expectations at the rear of the new Fiesta, we now see that vertically positioned lighting is now available in a completely horizontal form. Ford combines headlamp design with C-shaped lighting, which is located in a horizontal form. It is possible to say that the overall outline of the Fiesta is dominated by a sharper, clearer design.
When we enter the new Fiesta, the first thing to notice is the multimedia screen that Ford sets as the size of 8 inches. Located on the outside of the cockpit, which we are accustomed to seeing in most Mercedes models, this screen includes the SYNC3 system, which includes Ford’s most up-to-date software enhancements. Ford calls the 8-inch multimedia screen “the highest resolution screen in its class.” If the Sony audio system offered in Ford’s high-end models is in place, then Bang & Olufsen will be in 2017 Fiesta. Ford trusts the new Fiesta with its multimedia system and general hardware as much as “the most technologically small car in the world”.
We can say that the sound detection system we have seen in other Ford models will be presented to the user in the new Fiesta. The 2017 model of Fiesta includes 15 new driving assistants, including an active parking assistant, blind spot warning, lane tracking and warning and active traffic warning systems, in addition to the sound detection system. Fiesta’s most important innovation in security is the improved collision detection system. With this system sensor developed, it is constantly alert to possible collisions of up to 130 meters.
Catch the Fashion with Fiesta
We have reviewed many files and news related to the crossover, SUV and pickup market, which have often been accelerated with us since the time we left it back. The Active models, where users’ passenger models were elevated from place to place and their behavior in suspension characters changed with minor changes, was a new option for consumers who could not reach crossover and SUVs in the process. With Ford’s Fiesta Active, Hyundai’s i20 Active and finally the most vivid example of this is the way it comes out. As in the Hyundai i20 Active, Fiesta Active, which has been elevated from the ground up, is attempting to give this air with changes to the dampers and bumper-diffuser added to the pan. The entire Fiesta family, including Active, comes in larger sizes and more spacious living space as expected.
2017 models Fiesta variants will be presented in the engine options are similar to the past generation, we can say that the same is not the same. We see that the power and torque values of renewed engines increase, while the emission values decrease. The 1.0-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost engines are available in 100, 125 and 140 horsepower. Ford, together with the new generation, is preparing to introduce the 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine, the world’s first three-cylinder engine with cylinder pasivation (single cylinder passivated). We can say that this system is similar to the ACT (Active Cylinder Technology) system in the engines of the Volkswagen group. At the diesel engine stand, the Duratorq option, offered at the Focus, with the highest power rating of the 1.5-liter unit and delivered at 120 horsepower, will be available in the 2017 Fiesta family. The new Fiesta’s engine options are combined with five-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmissions. The new model choice and face to face Fiesta users will again be one of the best-selling models of its class.
