Pandora is coming after Spotify

Today, Pandora revealed that they will show a new service to the world, which is designed to compete with Spotify.

The internet radio, Pandora, was one of the frequent stops for those who wanted to listen music for free. However, the music service, which used to serve only in the USA, Australia and New Zealand, has been struggling for a long time to introduce a new service that will be open to the world.

Pandora, who bought the previously failed Rdio service for this purpose, has now announced that their service is ready for the competition and will be released soon. The new service, named Pandora Premium, which will be rolling out in 2017, will work with a monthly subscription fee of $ 10 and will have very strong personalization features.

While the user searches for new songs and creates playlists, Pandora Premium’s artificial intelligence will suggest songs that suit the taste of the person, and even create auto playlists or automatically add existing playlists to those songs.

The search feature of the Premium will be very detailed as well. Most service music search engines are mostly sorted by popularity and does not offer much details. This causes everyone to get the same results and it is getting harder to find not-so popular songs. With Pandora Premium, it will be possible to search for songs based on very detailed criteria, so that users will have the opportunity to discover songs that they have not heard before.
