Qualcomm teamed up with Google

Qualcomm, one of the largest companies in the mobile industry, teamed up with Google to make the LoT devices more useful.

 

 

The Internet of things continues to spread at the full speed. The Operating System that Qualcomm and Google have developed specifically for the Internet for objects, signals that in the near, future interconnected devices will have an important place in our lives.

 

 

Developers who will take advantage of the power of Snapdragon will find much faster solutions with an operating system named “Android of Things”. According to Qualcomm, Android Things, powered by Snapdragon processors, provides developers with similar connectivity environments. Jeffrey Torrance, Vice President of Business Development for Qualcomm, said in a statement, “Qualcomm Technologies and Google are working in close cooperation, since its release of the first Android phone, to provide developers exciting new opportunities with  wearable appliances, and IOT. We’re excited to work with Google in this new initiative to expand the Android ecosystem. We expect developers to use the power of Android Things and Snapdragon processors to develop many new and exciting IOT products. ” At the moment, Android Things, with its developer preview version, is expected to be released next year for large quantities compatible with Snapdragon processors.
