US’ Digital Revenge Plan

Putin digital plan

US’ Digital Revenge Plan

There is a new tension between the US and Russia due to the digital attacks in the election period. The repercussions of the digital attack that Russia has embarked on in US elections are in the US administration.

The CIA and the FBI were asserting that Russia was assured of a digital attack on US elections, while US President Obama was underestimating what he would do to counteract the attack appropriately. Now the US administration is trying to figure out what the “counter-moves” against Russia will be.

New tension between US and Russia

According to information leaked to the media from the US administration, a very short explanation about sanctions against Russia will be made.

Among the sanctions, there are options for reduction in economic sanctions and diplomatic relations. US security and intelligence agencies also agreed that hackers were given the order directly by Putin, following an inquiry into electoral attacks.

Democratic Party candidate Hillary Clinton’s hacking of campaign servers and the publication of emails have played a major role in Clinton’s loss of votes. Russia is also accused of digitally attacking the digital voting system.
