Acer Predator 21 X costs $9000
Acer Predator 21 X is the world’s first laptop with a curved 21-inch IPS screen (2560 x 1080 resolution and 120Hz refresh rate), giving the gamers a true gaming experience, especially when combined with Tobii eye tracking technology. According to Acer, eye tracking technology, which brings computer games to a new depth, allows players to capture, deflect and defend their enemies by looking only at the screen in more than 45 games, such as Elite Dangerous, Deus Ex Mankind Divided and WATCH DOGS 2. The curved display also includes NVIDIA G-SYNC technology to ensure a smooth and sharp gaming experience.
There is a powerful engine waiting to be revealed under the curved cover of the computer. The Predator 21 X is equipped with dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card and the 7th generation Intel Core i7-7820HK processor with overclocking feature for even high performance and responsive speed. 64GB of DDR4-2400 memory, four 512GB solid state drives in RAID 0 configuration (including 2 NVMe PCIe SSDs up to 5 caches faster than SATA SSDs) and a 1TB 7200 RPM hard drive all support this power. In addition, Killer DoubleShot Pro automatically selects the fastest network connection (Ethernet or wireless), and all traffic with high priority is sent to this intermediate when standard traffic is sent to another. This ensures that traffic with the highest priority is always on the fastest and most reliable connection. Thunderbolt 3 brings Thunderbolt to USB-C at speeds up to 40 Gbps.
The computer, which has extreme heat output during intense gaming sessions, has an advanced cooling architecture with 5 system fans (including 3 ultra-thin AeroBlade metal fans) and 9 heat pipes. The device also houses the Acer Dust Defender, which disperses dusts and facilitates the distribution of heat, and Acer CoolBoost applications, which can be used to adjust the airflow of the fans to provide extra cooling performance during heavy use.
The full-size mechanical keyboard comes with 16.7 million color options and has individually programmed backlit Cherry MX Brown keys. Using the accessory kit, the customer can change the black W, A, S and D keys to light blue ones. A unique numeric keypad can also be turned over to a Precision Touchpad.
Featuring action, the Predator 21 X features a new 3-way (treble, midrange, low frequency) sound design that delivers high-quality sound with high sensitivity and is backed by 4 speakers (2 treble, 2 midrange) and 2 subwoofers for full spectrum sound production.
Preloaded Acer PredatorSense software allows users to control and customize the entire gaming experience from a single central interface, including overclocking, lighting and fan control. In addition, the included Xsplit Gamecaster software makes it easy for players to record, edit and live-stream videos on Twitch and Youtube channels.
Just above the keyboard is a RAM module with a metal maintenance panel on the right and a 2.5-inch hard drive. This laptop is shipped with a blue dragon chart on the computer panel or can be personalized with 24 graphics, 13 country banners and processed names. Also, the first 300 laptop computers will have a limited production serial number on their panels.
For safe transport and storage, the Predator 21 X is shipped with a special ultra durable hard protector that safely protects the computer and its accessories.
On the other hand is a smaller model with a 17-inch model. Both the CPU and GPU upgrades have been made to the Acer Predator 17 X gaming laptop and now the new models will feature the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPU with 7th generation Intel Core i7-7820HK processor and 8G GDDR5X video memory. With overclocking, desktop computer-level components, a special three-fan cooling system from the front and a server-class steam room, this device is ideal for running the most demanding games and virtual reality (VR) devices. The overclocking feature allows gamers to increase the speed up to 4.3 GHz for CPU, 1732 MHz for GPU and 5.4 GHz for VRAM. The spirited gaming experience is presented in stunning visuals through the computer’s 17.3 with G-SYNC FHD IPS (1920 x 1080) or UHD IPS (4K 3840 x 2160) display.
Predator 17 X (GX-792) can also be overclocked for massive data transfer rates with 7th generation Intel Core i7-7820HK processor, up to 64GB of DDR4-2400 memory and enterprise grade NVMe PCIe solid state drive2 or 3-SATA-SSD RAID 0 Sequence.
