What did DJI show in CES 2017?

DJI Phantom 4 Pro

What did DJI show in CES 2017?

Some companies only have to introduce one or two products at CES. However, some companies prefer to display all their new products in the event. Drone maker DJI is one of those companies as five new products bearing the DJI brand were introduced at CES 2017. However, it should be noted that not all of the mentioned products are ready now.

Osmo Mobile, one of the products introduced by DJI, is a mobile version of the Osmo camera retention accessory, as the name suggests. Osmo Mobile can be used with smartphones instead of one of DJI’s expensive cameras.

The silver version of Osmo Mobile also brings more than the color change. Beacon mode, which is found in many smartphone camcorders in the camera holder, is offered as built-in.

DJI Osmo Mobile Silver

Osmo Mobile Silver is also compatible with the FiLMiC Pro movie application used by professionals.

DJI offers a solution for those who have the original Osmo but want to use their smartphone instead. It is now possible to use the original Osmo with smartphones that carry the Zenmuse M1 name.

DJI Ground Station Pro

DJI does not forget the drones which are the main focus of the company. It is important to note that even  though Osmo is a key to the company’s main product, it is eventually a move towards digital photography. You can use the Ground Station Pro application for the iPad which allows your drone to be conveniently controlled from the big screen.

DJI CrystalSky Monitor

However, using the iPad outdoors is not always comfortable enough. Taking this into consideration, they are working on a special screen named CrystalSky Monitor. With two different size options, 5.5 and 7.85 inches, the CrystalSky Monitor is already a prototype.

On the outside, CrystalSky Monitor can play real-time videos smoothly. It is not yet known when the CrystalSky Monitor will be ready and when it will be on the market.

The Ground Station Pro app is already in the iTunes App Store. The Osmo Mobile Silver and Zenmuse M1 will be available for sale at $ 299 and $ 169 in January. To celebrate the Chinese New Year, the company will be selling the red version of the Phantom 4 drone for $ 1199 at certain points.
