Hybrid Mustang is coming in 2020
Ford will produce the hybrid versions of Mustang and F-150. The company plans to put the models in the way by 2020. Having reached a sales figure exceeding 750 in the past year, the F-150 holds the title of the best seller of the USA, while the Mustang is a legend among sports cars.
Details of the new hybrid models are currently limited. But according to Ford’s statement, the hybrid F-150 will also work as a mobile generator. Builders or farmers who use the truck on this site will be able to supply the energy they need from the F-150. Ford has not neglected to mention that the hybrid truck will also be strong in terms of towing and hauling capacity.
The hybrid Ford Mustang will have a lower torque than the V8 power and standard. It seems likely that the company has intended to revive the power generation of the four-cylinder engine to be used in the car in this way. In this way, a V8 performance similar to that of the Mustang GT can be achieved.
Ford is once again highlighting the potential for electric vehicles by producing hybrid versions of two of the most popular automobiles. In 2020, the company is also planning to take the electric land vehicle with 480 km range.
