Instagram released a silent update for the iOS. With this update, Live Photo support is added, with improved support for sharper and clearer photos taken with iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus cameras. In fact, these two innovations were previously shown in the promotional activity of the iPhone 7 in September. Everyone is now able to use it.
First of all, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus users will be able to share more vivid photos thanks to the larger color capture and viewing support added to Instagram. It may be difficult to see the difference at the beginning, but if you shoot and share a similar photo taken before the last update, it may be possible to see the difference.
In addition, with the update, users are given the opportunity to convert their photos into the Boomerang when Live Photos mode is turned on. The Boomerang is a special tool that creates animations of the Instagram’s loop. It is also possible to use it in Instagram with a separate application.
To convert a Live Photo to a Boomerang, first open Instagram, then scroll left to the Story camera. Then load Live Photo from the film roll in the last 24 hours. It is possible to preview the share using 3D Touch. The wheel-shaped icon is also shown in the loading order. After this step, Live Photo becomes a Boomerang and the sharing is complete.
Live Photo support is gradually increasing in third party applications. Popular applications like Twitter, for example, do not yet support this format. However, we know that social networks like Tumblr and Facebook support Apple’s proprietary photo sharing format. Instagram also joins these networks.
Instagram innovations such as Live Photos and wider color support have gradually been introduced to iOS users. It is estimated that as many users as now have reached. Moreover, it is not necessary to update the Instagram application via the App Store in order to receive these innovations. Because the updates are made directly by the server.
