Nokia 6

This is Nokia’s new phone

HMD Global, the company behind the rebirth of the Nokia branded smart phones, unexpectedly made the official announcement of Nokia 6, the first Android phone of the company we normally expected at Mobile World Congress 2017.

With the launch of the Nokia 6, we are getting the first signs of what will be the forefront of the new Nokia phones. HMD says it takes 55 minutes to convert the 6000 series aluminum metal block into a phone body in the new Nokia phone. In the meantime, the body is anodized twice and polished five times.

It seems that HMD is more about the workmanship and quality of the new Nokia Android phone. However, the technical specifications of the phone are not quite as good as what we saw on the flagship phones. Specifications such as the 5.5-inch, 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution display and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor put this phone in the mid-high segment. 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory are quite generous choices.

The phone comes with Android 7 Nougat installed, but the HMD does not give much information about other software privatizations. It only says that there is a customized camera application. Meanwhile, the phone features a rear camera with 16 megapixels, f / 2.0, phase-sensitive autofocus; It has an 8 megapixel, f / 2.0 front camera.

Moreover, the Nokia 6 Android phone seems a bit stronger on the audio side than regular smartphones. A dual amplifier and support for Dolby Atmos audio technology is available on this phone.

The Nokia 6 is said to be the Nokia D1C model, which we have often seen before. While the disclosed specifications usually overlap with the leakers previously, the design is similar to the design of phones in previously leaked images.

The introduction of the first Nokia-branded Android phone was introduced, but it’s unlikely to be able to see it near here anytime soon. This is because HMD Global first sells this phone in China, specifically to the channel of the dealer. It has not been announced yet when it will be available for sale worldwide.
