Samsung has new Chromebooks

There was a news that Samsung was preparing to introduce new Chrome book models. The company lifted the cover on new the Chromebook models at CES 2017 event. The new notebooks, named Samsung Chromebook Plus and Pro, were developed together by Samsung and Google.


Google Play access is centralized in the design of Chromebook Plus and  Pro. In this way, applications from Google’s mobile app store will be easily accessible via these Chromebook. In addition, movies, books and music on the platform will be quickly available with these models.



Samsung Chromebook Plus and Pro have a 360-degree rotatable display. In this way, the laptop can be used as a tablet if desired. The built-in pen in both models makes it easier to use new them in the tablet format. Thanks to the pen, you can easily take notes and capture content on the screen. To support desktop usage, Google Keep and Samsung ArtCanvas applications are preloaded on new the Samsung Chromebooks.


Samsung Chromebook Plus


Samsung’s new Chromebooks are both weighing 1.08 kilograms.  Both the Plus and the Pro have a 12.3-inch screen with 2400 x 1600 Quad HD resolution. Protected by Gorilla Glass 3, the screen has a 3: 2 aspect ratio. Two computers with USB-C inputs can also display 4K-resolution content.



Samsung Chromebook Plus and Pro have 4 GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage. The Plus model has a six-core OP1 processor. The Pro, on the other hand, is powered by an Intel Core M3 processor.


The Plus model will be available for sale at prices starting at $ 449 in February. The Pro, whose price has not been announced yet, will take its place on the shelf in the spring.
