Would you pay $1000 for the iPhone 8?

Apple iPhone 7

Would you pay $1000 for the iPhone 8?

Apple is already working on the new version of the iPhone. The company’s next phone is expected to be a complete refresh on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of company’s mobile phone series.

Everything indicates that the most ambitious version of iPhone will be powerful in features and design, but also in price. According to the report published by Fast Company, it will have a price that would be located in the iconic $ 1,000 barrier. However, that does not mean that the base model will start at that price. In fact, Apple is supposedly preparing three versions of the iPhone to launch this year and that would be the most exclusive of the three that would exceed this price. Among the other features, this premium model is expected to incorporate – among other specifications – a screen with OLED panel for the first time in the Apple’s history.  This OLED screen will also be bigger (could go to 5.8 inches) than the current panels that the company has used in its iPhone 6, 6S and 7.

This panel, which has already incorporated competitors such as Samsung is more than twice as expensive as the current LCD that is being used in the current phones of Apple. Besides, it should be noted that if the current 7 Plus can be purchased for $ 969 for The 256GB version, it is not surprising that the company puts the most premium terminal at $ 1,000. Also, the price of iPhone has been growing year by year and the iPhone 7 has been crowned the most expensive phone so far.

Beyond the screen, it is rumored that Apple would bet on this iPhone 8 or X ( although it has not yet been revealed how it will be called) by a forged stainless steel body, somewhat cheaper than the current aluminum panels on the current models.
