Nintendo Switch is doing great

Things are going well for the Nintendo Switch, which we have been reviewing in the past days. Even so, Nintendo decided to double production.

The switch that managed to become the best selling console of Nintendo’s history for the first two days after it was released on 3 March, sold nearly 1.5 million units months together. Distributors were waiting for their game consoles’ stock to be renewed, which had a price tag of $ 300, while third-party organizations even began to sell the console with a more expensive label, making an “arrangement” on the price tag. According to the Wall Street Journal, Nintendo decided to double the number of production plans for the console due to Switch’s sales success.

Nintendo plans to produce at least 16 million Switches starting from the financial year to begin. According to initial plans, this number was around 8 million. Nintendo’s sales target of reaching 2 million Switch sales by the end of March is estimated to be 2.5 million.

Without any decline in Nintendo’s switch sales, it is not even the case that Wii U will leave behind the disappointing sales figure in a short time. At the end of 2012, Wii sold about 13.5 million. Company’s popular mobile console 3DS has sold over 65 million units since 2012. If the switch is both a desktop and a mobile console, it will be time for the company to be the most preferred device.
