Mac and iMac Pro are coming

Craig Federighi, the Senior Vice President of Software Engineering at Apple and Philip Schiller, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, shared information about Apple’s future Mac Pro model. Apple executives say the new model will be completely renewed, and  will have a modular design.

Schiller said Apple is in the process of rethinking it completely and said the renewal process will be over a year’s long. The computer expected to be introduced after 2017 to meet the expectations in the VR and high-tech cinema production industry. Philip Schiller, Apple’s marketing chief, said users waiting for the new Mac Pro should be patient for a while. The new Mac Pro will have a completely new design to better accommodate future upgrades and higher-level equipment. It is said that the current design of the Mac Pro sold in the market is not suitable for modular design. Apple has also confirmed that it is currently working on an iMac model for professional users other than the new Pro. It is said that the latest version of the iMac, which was updated in 2015, could be challenging. The iMac Pro, which is supposed to have no touchscreen, is expected to be introduced in the third or fourth quarter of this year. We will share it with you when Apple gets new computers.
