Say goodbye to the iTunes

With little changes Apple has made to the iTunes brand, it is getting clearer that we are about to say goodbye to the service.  After that, all the services offered seem to be shaped around the Apple name.

When we look at the platforms that provide online music services, we see that competition is getting more and more hot. There are many alternatives such as Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal, and they all make a great effort to appeal to more users. While some services sign advertising agreements with famous names, others include special content. If you look at the latest developments, the days of iTunes that are cross-mounted are numbered.

Apple has signaled that it will leave behind this brand, which shaped a period with a small change in the day we passed. After that, iTunes Podcasts will be called Apple Podcasts. With this move, it was clear that the technology giant is now just going to go with Apple Music. But the change was limited to the name only. When adding new rules for use, no different features were introduced. At the beginning of the 2000s, the service was a pioneer in the exchange of music industry.

Of course, this change also worried people who publish podcasts. It is not known whether the change made by Apple will bring podcasts in iTunes. But it seems certain that iTunes will bid farewell to us soon.
