Tesla is recalling both Model S and X
Tesla, who has been very successful lately, still continues to rise in the markets. The company, who crossed Ford and General Motors in America, has had some problems over time, despite these big successes. Now, their thousands of cars are being recalled for a major breakdown.
Some Model S and Model X units have a problem that makes it impossible to use the car while the handbrake is active. The electric handbrake can get stuck at some time and does not release the wheels. As a result, it is not possible to move the car. Tesla stated that this mistake is due to the third party developer, and although it does not fully assume the fact, it shows how serious the security of the users is with the recall.
Tesla recalls 53,000 cars produced between February and October 2016 due to this problem. The company says that until this time, due to this problem that can be experienced in the handbrake, there were no injuries or accidents but it does so that the users do not have any question about safety.
Actually, this is not the first time for Tesla. Previously, in 2015, 3,000 Tesla Model S cars were recalled. Problematic seat belts have been put forward as the reason for this recall.
