HTC introduced the Desire 530, Desire 630 and Desire 825 models at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, but the flagship phone was not introduced at MWC17. After three months, HTC officially launched its new flagship phone U11, which has been waited for a long time. Targeting the success of the HTC 10, the model is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor and 4 GB of RAM. The phone’s screen, which comes with a 5.5-inch Super LCD5 capacitive display with 1440p pixels resolution, is covered with Gorilla Glass 5 for durability against scratches.
Aluminum and glass materials are preferred, and the HTC U11 draws attention with its liquid-like design. The phone, which comes in silver, black, blue, red and white colors, is undoubtedly the feature of Edge Sense, the most versatile feature. The compression-enabled phone can perform certain operations by pressing lightly and firmly as in Apple’s Force Touch technology. The intensity of this feature can be adjusted as well as customizations can be made. Available in the rain, even in the presence of gloves, Edge Sense can be used from both sides of the phone. By pressing on the sides of the phone, you can take pictures and open various applications. Apart from Edge Sense, which lets you quickly adjust settings, the HTC U11’s front and rear camera are also bouncing. On the front of the phone is a 16 megapixel camera with F / 2.0 diaphragm for users who like to take a lot of selfies. Thanks to the 150-degree lens, wide angle selfie shooting is easy. Looking at the back side, the HTC U11 has a 12 Megapixel UltraPixel camera.
The 5-axis optical image stabilization system is also preferred by the additional electronic stabilization system, which reduces vibration. It is stated that the white balance and flash light are improved on the camera, which is said to be particularly successful in low light with the F / 1.7 aperture value. Compared to the previous camera, the amount of noise is reduced and the rear camera has the best autofocus system in its class. The phone with USB-C connection comes with a USB-C supported headset called HTC USonic. The headset also features noise suppression. The phone does not have a 3.5 mm headphone jack, but comes with an adapte. The phone, which also has Google Assistant and Alexa voice command support, is resistant to water and dust with IP67 certification. The phone, which will be available for sale in certain countries next week, will be offered to users worldwide at the beginning of next month. The selling price of HTC U11 has not been announced yet.
