LG V30 - Leak

LG V30 might look like the Blackberry Priv

It is said that LG plans to release the high-end smartphone V30 in September. Moreover, it is said that this phone has various considerations for OLED display instead of LCD. According to the information given by Evan Blass, a well-known source of leaks,  LG V30 is intended to feature a sliding secondary display in the first concept.

Blass did not forget to publish a number of drafts. However, he emphasized that these images may be drafts that reveal older ideas, and it is not clear at this time whether the secondary screen will be housed at all. Drafts show a main screen and a second screen that slides beneath it. This secondary display can be used for display of search results and for additional controls.

The device really looks like the BlackBerry PRIV, which has a slider keyboard below the screen, and Apple’s TouchBar control panel, which displays different commands depending on the application, even if it is a little bit smaller. We will find out over time how the final version of the phone will look and whether it will carry a sleek display. Probably, much detail will be clear up until September when the phone is introduced.

Meanwhile, there are other sources with interesting ideas about the V30. A designer, in the LG V30 concept videos he prepares, is portraying how LG might be the phone of the autumn private flagship. The resulting picture looks much different and quite exaggerated than Evan Blass’s leak. Still, it’s worth a look.
