Medium Homepage Update

Medium redesigned its homepage

Medium announced the homepage editing feature with the subscription service in March. In the first place, the company only allowed subscribers to change their home pages. The blogging platform, which opens this feature to all its users in about two months, makes it possible for everyone to create a Flipboard-like home page from shared posts.

Users will now be able to create a custom homepage by choosing between more than 50 categories. These categories include technology, productivity and politics. The category selection can be done both on the desktop and through the iOS application of the blog service. Four to six stories will be shown for each user in each title. Users will see more posts when they click the “More” button.

In the medium made statement, it is stated that the distribution of the feature is started to the users. The blog platform has announced that the home page editing feature and personalized homepage will soon be available to users of the Android app. You need to wait a bit to see how the personalized homepage will impact the Medium’s traffic and the number of active users.
