Tessa Model 3 will be way slower than the Model S

Tesla model 3 has been announced in the past year. The production  is scheduled to start in July next year, bringing electric cars with a larger body. Some features of the car have already come to light thanks to the organization named “Tesla Model 3 Owners Club” .

A prepared infographic compares Model 3, which sells for $ 35,000 in the US, and the Model S, which has Tesla’s more advanced features. In this infographic, there is information that shows the New model can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers in 5.6 seconds.

The model 3’s speed from 0 to 100 kilometers is slow compared to the Model S. But even for the most affordable version of the Model S, you have to pay $ 69,500. In addition, the Chevrolet Bolt, which is considered to be one of the direct competitors of the Model 3, can reach 100 kilometers in 6.5 seconds. So we have to admit that 5.6 seconds is an impressive time.

A Tesla spokesman who spoke to the Road & Track site confirmed the leaked features. The company spokesman did not forget to give the knowledge that Model’s range is over 346 kilometers. This information was not verified by the US Environmental Protection Agency. However, the Model 3 seems to have lagged behind the Chevrolet Bolt with a range of 455 kilometers.

The highly anticipated Model 3 reached 252 thousand pre-orders within two days. The total pre-order of the car is 400 thousand. Although Tesla’s new vehicle is fast, it is unlikely to say the same for the production process. The leaky infographic confirms that the car will be delivered to its owners from the middle of 2018.

Even if 5.6 seconds is not the most impressive time, I don’t see why it matters all that much. I mean: on its own, 5.6 seconds is really fast. There are lots and lots of cars that are much slower when going from 0-100.
