OnePlus 5 is a cheap copy of the iPhone 7 Plus
OnePlus’s new flagship phone, the 5, eventually became official. The OnePlus 5 comes with a stylish metal case that seems very familiar for all of us.
At first glance, the OnePlus 5 looks like a more rounded and slim version of the OnePlus 3 and 3T, but at the same time, an exact copy of the iPhone 7. OnePlus, which succeeded in reducing the thickness of the frame to 7.25 mm, makes it easier to hold the phone by both rounding the corners and increasing the roundness of the edges. The fact that the headphone jack is not discarded is also a hallmark of the phone.
The screen is one of the things that remain unchanged from the OnePlus 3 and 3T to the OnePlus 5. The smartphone has a 5.5 inch screen with Full HD resolution. This screen is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 glass, which slightly curves around the edges.
The double-camera system behind it is one of the most remarkable among the new features of OnePlus 5. This setup is accompanied by a 20 megapixel resolution telephoto lens with a 16 megapixel resolution f / 2.0 aperture and a f / 1.7 aperture. So with OnePlus 5, it’s possible to create a depth effect just like with iPhone 7 Plus. The camera setup comes with a 2x fast zoom feature.
At the heart of OnePlus’s new flagship is the 2.45 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. This processor is accompanied by 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage in the gray color model. In the color option called Nighttime Black, the RAM capacity is 8 GB and the internal storage space is 128 GB.
The OnePlus 5 is powered by a 3300 mAh high-quality battery. Thanks to the presence of a new processor and more efficient memory, even better battery performance is offered to the user, even if the battery capacity is reduced compared to the 3T. Dash Charge technology, located on the power adapter and on the cable, allows the battery to recharge quickly.
OnePlus 5 has a feature named App Priority, which is designed to make the phone work smoothly. This feature, which learns the most commonly used applications, ensures that these applications can be accessed quickly when needed. App Priority, which drops down rarely used applications in the priority order, prevents them from consuming pills when they are not being used.
OnePlus 5 comes with a new version of the company’s OxygenOS platform built on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The Shelf, which provides access to important information and tools found in previous versions, also faces users in OnePlus 5. Customizable buttons, icons and themes are among the familiar pieces of software.
The new software brings some new features too. One of these innovations is reading mode, filtering blue light and adjusting sharpness. In this way, you can experience a reading experience similar to that of e-book readers on the phone. With the new OxygenOS it is also possible to receive extended screen images.
The phone will be available for sale on June 27. Today, however, it will be possible to buy phones from New York and tomorrow’s London, Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, Helsinki and Copenhagen. The phone, which has 6 GB of RAM, will be sold for $ 479 and the version with 8 GB of RAM will be sold for $ 539.
